Legal & Compliance
Terms of Service
The terms under which a healthcare institution uses PontiCare, including permitted use, data ownership, and cancellation.
Last updated: 3 September 2026
Permitted Use & Medical Disclaimer
PontiCare provides practice management, CRM, documentation assistance, and operational software. PontiCare does not practice medicine or replace clinical judgment. All medical diagnoses, drug prescriptions, and treatment decisions remain the sole responsibility of licensed healthcare professionals.
System Availability
PontiCare is delivered as a hosted service with planned maintenance announced in advance. Availability commitments, measurement method, and any associated service credits are set out in the subscribing institution's order form; no general uptime guarantee is made on this page.
Data Portability & Ownership
All clinical records, patient databases, billing ledgers, and operational records remain the exclusive property of the subscribing healthcare institution. Arrangements for returning that data on termination — format, medium and timeline — are set out in the subscribing institution's order form. The product does not currently provide a self-service facility-wide export.
Security & Access Control
Role-based access control with organisation-scoped isolation, and append-only, hash-chained audit logging of sensitive record and administrative actions.
Cancellation, Refund & Billing
PontiCare bills on metered usage — a fixed amount per outpatient visit and per day a patient is admitted, at the rate agreed with each hospital. Invoices are issued twice a month for the usage already recorded. A subscription can be cancelled from the administrator dashboard and takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle; the days already paid for remain available until then. Setup fees and custom integration charges are non-refundable once engineering work has begun.
